The petals of these flowers are five separate brick stitch components, sewn together. I have graphs for this one -- I will try to get them up as soon as I can mark where the parts are connected. In the meantime, see this picture of the back of the earring.

These need delicas (or possibly 15/0s). I made one in 11/0s, but it came out large and lumpy. I had originally envisioned using matte beads, but I couldn't find a good matte purple delica!

The black lines are very thin shiny black bugle beads, of the type that I've mostly seen used for beading on clothing. They require a very thin needle, or a lot of patience to find the ones with large holes.
