These earrings were inspired by a pair of brick stitch earrings I saw in Fire Mountain Gems' ad on the back of Bead & Button #17. I looked at them and thought to myself, "I can make a better pair of turtles than that." So I did, using a combination of brick stitch and square stitch to allow more fluid lines in the design. (I hope to have some illustrated instructions for my method of working square stitch and brick stitch simultaneously here sometime soon.)
