These earrings are worked from the center out using a combination of square stitch and brick stitch. The flippers are added after working the turtle's body, head, and tail. The earring is finished by adding a loop of six beads to the top of the head for the ear wire. I used metallic bronze and teal Delicas, but the earrings might be interesting worked in fantasy colors.
